it was amazing

Age:
Grades 3-6

Genre:
non-fiction

Diversity:
Multicultural

Illustrations:
Illustrations look like they were drawn with thick black lines and then painted with various colors.

Personal response:
I really enjoyed the simplicity of the book. It covers information about the world and different cultures but breaks it down to a level where children can grasp the information. This book makes me excited for all of the possibilities it contains for lesson planning, the book even includes ideas in the back!

Curricular or programming connections:
This book would be great for an integrated unit for math, social studies, writing, and reading.
