I am torn between giving this book 3 or 4 starts. It started out super strong...loved Macy!! She was strong, sassy, loving and overall a lot of fun. The hero of our story, Gabe Donovan, was a fireman...need I say more!!! I just can't resist a man's man, tough, contolled and smart. I think Susan Andersen writes my ideal guy is almost all her stories...I thank her for that! The sparks and the attraction was mutual...but contentious, which I adore. I loved the story up until about half-way to two-thirds of the way through. Then, it felt like the book was in a rush to wrap up the story. There were a couple of side stories that could've been developed better and I felt a little cheated when the other storylines were wrapped up too neatly. Overall, definitely a solid and entertaining light romance read. Now, I am just on pins and needles waiting for the third book in Andersen's Sisterhood Diaries trilogy. Now that series is FANTASTIC!
