it was amazing

Read from September 15 to 19, 2011 — I own a copy

The novel is really rich in detail and quick paced -- The complex mystery, thriller aspects are perfect, and then the whole other aspects of the novel which is also a social comment on society. Plus, the political and financial intrigue really hit the spot.

The best part was that, after the major revelations, I still couldn't put the book down until the very end. The loose ends were woven back into the braid and I did not feel at all like the writer abandoned me or any of the characters. I closed the book thinking about how they all would go on living, engaged with each other in their eccentric, quirky way.

It's downright heartbreaking that Larsson passed away before he could enjoy the international success of these books. My suggestion to any reader of it would be to turn the pages slowly and savor it, because you'll be so sorry to see it end.
