it was ok
bookshelves: true-crime

The material is well researched, and presented in a logical arrangement. It is easy for the lay reader to follow. The writing, on the other hand, is what I would expect from an introductory class textbook. I found it rather dry and often had a hard time keeping my attention from wandering.

In all honesty, I may have had unrealistically high expectations for this book. I would have given it higher marks if it had been either written or marketed differently.
