T.D. Whittle Oh, Suzanne, I love her so much! I've read this already, but it's in one of my collections, so not this version.


Suzanne I love her too. And this one is so interesting from an historical point of view - what people were used to cooking then, what they were able to cook during wartime, what was considered "innovative" vs. the "balanced" and really boring meals that were touted then as the gold standard, the obsession with fuel costs. And the recipes! I had not known it was an actual cookbook of sorts. Fun.
