This book moved me, changed me, spoke to me. And I plan to read it again. It's a story about motherhood, feminism, dealing with the past and the present, and coming to understand, accept, and embrace your body. Though my life is very different than Dederer's, it spoke to me as a young mother. It didn't have pat ready-made answers; the struggle and journey touched me. It's also one of the funniest books I've read, and I love how she incorporates humor into her reflections.
