I really enjoyed this second installment in the story of Jenna Fox and her two friends, Kara and Locke. It kept me interested all the way through, and I liked Locke as a character so it made his narration compelling. The whole concept of this series is fascinating to me, and I think Perason pulls it off well. It was also nice to get a bit more information about what happened to Jenna and Allys, but the book is about more than that; it's about what makes a person human, what constitutes freedom, and what lengths people are willing to go to.

I'd highly recommend this series.
