It was a nice and useful way to remember things about the series while waiting for the next book. Nothing too interesting or exceptional on this book, I could have go on just fine without having read it.

In this novella we get to read about one of the Militia Warriors and how he got his mate. What I liked the most was to finally read a book from a guy's POV who isn't a Warrior of the Blood. It was great to see what the rest of the people on 2nd Earth think about the Warriors of the Blood and Endelle.

I really do love this series and the plot is just amazing. I just can't wait for the next book.
