If you're looking for a steamy sex read, this is it. If you're looking for a clear concise plot, look somewhere else. This book is listed as #18 in the series but I didn't know that until I started reading it. I understand that by #18 fans of the series will have the background down pat but I only got the general jist of the overarching story. A paragraph or two explaining things would have been nice so that newcomers to the series understood what was going on. There were also throwaway comments in the book that I'm not sure are part of the other books and are important to the series or were just "filler" for the book. I did enjoy the central story though.
