Convinced a cell of Basque separatists are hiding out in a convent, the Spanish army storms the place but finds only nuns, who get rounded up for questioning. Four nuns escape the army but run into the terrorists in the hills. The terrorists are really just misunderstood patriots, and three of the nuns fall in love with three of the terrorists/patriots. (The fourth nun is over 60, so of course, no love interest for her--she gets a much different fate.)

Despite the over-the-top good girls love bad boys storyline, this book was pretty entertaining.
