I absolutely loved this book!!! Sherrilyn Kenyon has the most incredible imagination and I really enjoyed the world of wolves that she created. I am normally not the biggest fan of shifters but I love the Dark-Hunter series so I decided to give this a try and I'm glad to say I was not disappointed.
Night Play tells the story of Vane a half Katagaria, half Arcadian were who has been banished by both sides of his family and is staying at the supernatural safe house Sanctuary. His brother Fang has been attached by Daimons and he has nothing left in his world except his need for revenge against his father. Until he runs into Braide McTierney.
This book kicks off almost immediately with a steamy sex scene and just gets better from there. There are a few surprises here and there and a few great supporting characters and I really loved, especially Fury. But most of all I love the background of the were-hunter's history, who wouldn't love a book where women are the dominant species? It might just be me but the idea that a man will be impotent if you don't accept him and physically unable to cheat on you if you do, is just the best idea ever!!!
