This one's just as awesome and UNPUTDOWNABLE as the first! Coulter drags you right in at the beginning and holds you until the end! Twists that I didn't see coming, especially in finding out who killed Lacey's sister. Just when I thought I for sure had the murderer pegged... and I was soooo wrong! The entire story was action-packed, the suspense enough to make you cringe... the characters each had a personality very much their own, the whole story believable that it could've happened / could happen in real life is enough to be scary on so many levels. Wonder if Book #, The Target, is just as good.

Karen I liked this better than The Cove. I always liked the Savich/Sherwood chemistry. I also felt the plot of this one was more suspenseful than that of the Cove. Each book in th e series gets better and better.

Gina I may have to disagree with you on that one, Karen. Someone had recommended me the FBI series, and I can honestly say that, after the 4th book, it started going downhill for me. I didn't find that they held up. I found the characters were getting flawed: no personality, no chemistry, no true emotion... I still have three or four of the last of the series still sitting on my TBR shelf. I just haven't had the 'gumption' to pick them up. :(

Karen I have Blow out the only reason I haven't picked it up is that it is a big hard cover
might try and find a pb copy for reading in bed

Miss Kim The Maze is still my absolute favorite in the FBI series. I think its much better than The Target. I thought the mystery was very well written, and I loved the chemistry with Savich and Sherlock. I do agree with Gina that the series starts to go down hill after a few books. Hemlock Bay is a little crazy with the 'mind control' stuff. I thought it was silly. I do have TailSpin ordered from the library, but I've not picked it up yet.

Karen I am going to read Blow out first then order tail spin.

Gina I haven't read the last... 4... I think, of the series. I've got them all right up to Blow, but haven't read them. I think because the last 4 I read weren't that great, in my opinion, that I haven't had the urge to read them.

Eva this is the best one. dont bother reading tail spin, it made me not want to buy any more of her books. in the maze we hear much more about savich's and sherlock's background, which makes them more real.

Gina I do still have the next four... Haven't had any interest in reading them as yet.
