I'm not sure if I think this one's better or worse than Count Zero. It continues the story, but in a very loosely-connected way and the ending was really unsatisfying as it didn't explain anything and just added another question. There are some new characters, that again are pretty uninteresting and do a lot of uninteresting things. Sally, the razorgirl from Necromancer, is back but you don't get to follow her - probably because that would've been too interesting. Bobby, the Count / Count Zero, is also back but is just doing something in the matrix but you never get to know what - which also probably would've been too interesting.
