The stories a bit raw...the extensive length of the collection coupled with the short nature of his stories makes for sometime slightly repetitive experiences...but there is no denying the brilliance that is Philip K. Dick. His themes of who is human, who is not, will we make it, will we evolve and will anyone save us are still relevant!
One really needs to respect when he was writing to enjoy this book....most stories deal with the aftermath, or fear of, nuclear war, but the great thing about a compendium, is that if one story isn't doing it for you, another will soon rear up to take its place.
