it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction, scifi
Read in January, 2000

I love this book, fullstop.

The surreal and gentle tone of the book do tend to zone me out, though. It's easy to look up from this one and feel like my brain has been covered in marshmellows and cotton fluff.

My other favorite thinga about this book is that he combines wwII, space aliens, and time travel and manages to make you take it all quite seriously.
