This is a book, simply, that makes you feel good and reaffirms life. A beautiful novel about following dreams and believing in oneself.

And it all comes down to this sentence:

And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.

That is the whole novel contained in a matter of words. It's the kind of thing I wish I had picked up when I was fifteen, rather than something like, say, Fight Club or Catcher in the Rye, which wallow in angst and loathing. Here is a book that gives the opposite: a belief in the power of life and the will to live.

Colin McKay Miller Have you met you? This should be too pretentious for you. Oh wait, I guess you do like pretentious work. ;)

Edward Rathke Haha, this book is the opposite of pretentious! It's about simplicity! Simplicity!

It's, oddly, quite in line with how I view the world, actually. And I've decided to exist happily with my pretence!

Michelle lovely =)
