The first book before another book I read before, Little Lady Big Apple. Kind of made sense of the latter book now, but I still don’t understand why the Girl did some of the things she did. This book was more the set up. She sets up her new job after getting laid off from her old one. She begins to spend a lot of “work time” with one of her clients who just happens to work at her old job. Events happen. She somehow gets roped into planning her sister’s wedding because she borrowed money from her father to give to a now ex-boyfriend but somehow, her time isn’t worth any money, and her father says she has to do this because it’s her sister? Now that made no sense to me. Grow a spin honey! The idea was good, but the stuff with her family, was nails on a chalkboard annoying.

Grade: C
