Hmmm. I read this one at the beach, got it out of the library. It was a quick read to entertain me while sitting in the sun. I couldn't really get into the main character, I actually liked her friends better! I also couldn't get into the hero, who was a bit of a dink (I don't want to give it away so I'll only say that his reason for shunning her initially seemed kind of flimsy). I also thought the plot was fairly transparent (a traitor? really? couldn't they see ANY alternatives?) I mean, I guessed it at the get go just from reading the back blurb!

There was an excerpt at the back of the book for the second book in the series which stars her quirky friend & I'm all keen to read that one, because I really really liked that character. I'm hoping for that to interest me more because I'm more intrigued by that character.

I consider this an Ok beach read.
