I think I forgot that having a PhD in robotics doesn't make you a great writer. Also apparently the only "heroes" important enough for the robots to record lived in the US, London, or Japan. Sorry most of the the world; you didn't make the cut. For once, the movie might be better than the book. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

This one is getting rave reviews. I still have the ARC unopened. Tell me what you think.

Bobby I can already see why Spielberg picked it to direct. It almost feels like a screenplay with tons of description and action. Very engaging and I like the format - a good change of pace from the density of Infinite Jest for me.

Philip i was wondering about this. i heard the interview on NPR, but it still didn't sound great to me...
