I liked the premise: a girl struck by lightning now dreams the locations of missing persons, and brings down upon her hostility, government interest, and lots of jeopardy. The plotting is engrossing and the characterization is typically Cabot, but because she's aiming at teens and is trying to capture typical teen antiauthority, she makes her protagonist and friends talk lots of trash, with sexual references and concerns (though no explicit sex) and lots of profanity. I liked the stories enough to read them all, though I wish they didn't have the language and occasional crudity.
