it was amazing

I loved Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts. The story centres on three characters and their problems though Rachel is the main focus. Rachel, recovering from a complicated broken relationship, inherits a house and a dog rescue centre from an aunt, along with a few of her aunt's secrets; it isn't what she's used to or what she wants. Zoe battles life as a single mum with an unhelpful ex, two children and a demanding puppy, and Natalie and Johnny's lives run anything but smoothly while trying for a baby and fostering Bertie the Basset. The book is rather long at just over 400 pages but there are some laugh out loud moments along with the tear-jerking ones.
