This is a really cute "short story." It tells the story of an elderly man who has worked in matenience at a boardwalk amusement park his entire life. The story starts with his pushing a young girl out of the way before part of a ride falls on her. He ends up dying and finds himself in "Heaven", which is really a person who is connected to his past. The story flashes back to his life story with each person he meets. The fifth person is a young girl whom he doesn't recognize, but in the end she brings closure to parts of his life story that he had never closed upon himself. A quick, feel-good kind of read

Thanks for pointing out that comments have dates. I'm new to goodreads and my ignorance shows, eh?
