I read this book to my friend's daughter Abbey the other day and fell in love with Nancy and her not so fancy family. It is an adorable book with a good message and great illustrations. Of course you also have the added bonus that they have lots of fun "fancy" words for children to use. Abbey calls everything "oooh fancy" now.
