it was ok
bookshelves: book-club, feminism-sex-gender-sexuality, fantastical
Read from June 16 to 20, 2011

As I was reading I couldn't put a finger on what I disliked about this book, and then one of the characters speaks the line "I resent this play" speaking of the books central action, a high school production of "Lysistrata" and I though, wait, that's exactly how I feel, "I resent this book".

The last forty pages are terrible, like something that would be the quick resolution to a particularly 'zany' episode of 'Desperate Housewives' crossed with an old episode of 'Charmed'- too silly, too convenient, too quick and easy of an ending.
