I thoroughly enjoyed this short book narrated by Catherine Carr. Carr's reading was excellent, and the story mostly light and humorous. This is the second of a series by Susan Mallery, following The Substitute Millionaire. The Substitute Millionaire was fun, but this book was funnier and had fewer irritating side-characters. I loved when Kane puts Willow's father in his place. Spiteful of me, but there it is. This series is available on audible.com at this time for under $4 each. Definitely worth it for 4 or 5 hours of entertainment.

Note on author mistake in Chapter 11: All calico cats are female, so the gray and white kitten with the orange paws isn't a "he." (Okay, so technically there is something like a 1:3000 chance for a tri-color cat to be male. You gotta love genetics!)

Dorsey aka Wrath Lover I totally agree with your review, I loved this story and the narrator in this one and the 1st in book in the series, had a hard time listening to the 3rd book did not like the narrator in that one.

Carrie Thanks, Dorsey! This was a fun, inexpensive series and got me interested in looking for more Susan Mallery books. I didn't care for the last narrator as much, either. I thought Catherine Carr was perfect!

Dorsey aka Wrath Lover Yes she was great. Have you listened to the audio book "Falling for Gracie" by Susan Mallery? I loved it and highly recommend and I think that I got that one during a sale from Audible.com.
