Read from June 15 to 17, 2011 — I own a copy, read count: 1

** spoiler alert ** I enjoyed so many things about this book! I laughed and cried and cried a little more and in the end, I was happy I did. :) Perhaps one of my favorite things about It Happens Every Season is the camaraderie of the ladies in the TLC and how they come around Brenda in love to help her through her darkest hour. It felt like something from the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, etc. - I'm a sucker for any stories about the bonds any group women shares and the things they go through together. Cody was such a special part of the story and the development of community's attitude toward him was an absolute delight to watch. I look forward reading the three books remaining in the series!

This book was free on the Amazon Kindle at the time I downloaded it.
