Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller is about a classic American businessman named Willy Loman. He envisions a future where his both of his sons, Biff and Happy are successful businessmen like himself. He isn't actullay successful like he says, but he hides that from his family. In reality, he barely makes enough to support his family and borrows money from thier good friends and neighbor, Charely. Willy in in debt, but he never pays his fulfills his payments back.
His sons are the opposite of what Willy hopes and dreams for as well. They are not sucessful at all and all they do is stay around the house. Biff, who was supposed to be really smart and popular ended up what Will y calls a "bum." He is a waste to Willy and does nothing to give back to the fmaily. Happy tries to get attention from his father Willy but doesn not succeed in getting any.
Overall, this book is a classic book that shows the conflicts that a traditional middle class family goes through.
