This was such a refreshing change from all of the Vampire dark fantasy out there. Zombie apocalypse (love it!) meets YA fantasy. I'd recommend the whole series. It takes a while to get used to the first person narrative being present tense, but after you get past this it's quite a story.

I love some of the ideas that are in this book - They used fences to block out the zombie spread!

I'd also suggest you read Hare Moon after this one, it gives you an insight into Sister Tabitha that might soften your view of her.
