Heroine insists that attractive & wealthy Hero give her a job as his repayment for making her lose her other job for sullying her reputation. Hero thought she was the woman who showed up in his bedroom almost naked a few years ago & who he rejected, even though heroine insists it wasn't her. Heroine didn't divulge that the woman he was talking about was her twin sister. Hero takes her up on her offer & wants her to pretend to be his fiancee to get his father off his back about marrying a family friend's daughter. Their close proximity fires up their already powerful attraction to each other while their assumptions about each other get challenged as they get to know each other better.

This was a delightful read overall. The 1st few pages dragged a bit but, when Hero & heroine meet, the adventure begins. I really liked the heroine in this one. Her honesty was humorous & refreshing. It showed her strong yet practical & simple personality. She had integrity. She didn't bend to please others but she wasn't abrasive or brutal about it. She was self-deprecating but in a funny way, especially about her weight. I also liked the Hero. He was alpha male but not a jerk nor was he sexually indiscriminate. The dialogue was funny & sexual chemistry was sizzling. I wished the love scenes occurred earlier & that there was more of it. Romance was good & believable.

Recommended.
