A Feast for Crows is the first book in A Song of Ice and Fire that I've found overly wordy and underwhelming. It felt as if George could have spent a little more time editing A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons could have been a single volume. At the very least A Feast for Crows could have ended on a better note instead of feeling as if it was droning on and on.

That being said I still enjoyed the parts with Arya. Otherwise it was a Cersei estravaganza that bordered on utter lunacy and boredom. Brienne, a character I love, as well was utter boredom. NOTHING HAPPENED! Finishing this episode was a chore and the only reason I gave it 3 stars was for the MINOR character developments and plot movement in an great overarching storyline.
