Read in January, 1972

When I first read this book, 'Hazel' was my very favourite girl's name.....so I was slightly confused to realise that Hazel was a boy in this....despite this twist in my tiny mind, I just devoured this amazing book and only looked upon all the characters as rabbits.

When I re-read it, as a child in adult clothing, I realised how 'human' all the characters were.

A Masterpiece!

A great read for everyone!
