I really liked this book! Could not put it down and wanted to keep reading at all times.

A very nice trick the author plays on you are the 'cliffhangers' before switching from perspective/storyline (Aibileen, Minny or Miss Skeeter) which makes you want to read on and learn more about the lives of these incredible women. As a Dutch white girl living in the 21th century I realize that it's impossible for me to understand what women like the characters in this book must have felt like, but still I think that books like this one should be read and read and read....and read some more for it forces us to think twice when injustice is right in front of our eyes and maybe do something about it!

Good book, great morals and altogether a gripping read.
