Matthew Prior has big ambitions. After he loses his job as a newspaper reporter, he begins his own financial poetry blog, which soon falls into financial ruin. Faced with the responsibility of providing for his family, he falls into a crazy drug scheme, and becomes entrenched in hoodlum activities. This middle-class, middle-aged man soon finds himself wrapped up in an illegal scheme he can't dig himself out of.
