it was amazing
bookshelves: favorites, club-choice

Loved this! I get a special satisfaction from reading dialogue that rings true to its time and Thousand Autumns does this with bells on. The story was funny, dangerous, macabre and felt historically accurate. I had never heard of David Mitchell previous to this and will be exploring him further.
