A book meant to offer a counterpoint to the Richard Dawkins/Sam Harris books on the atheist position. The first half of the book is a compilation of standard apologetic answers for common questions concerning faith and religion, specifically Christianity. For people who have questions about Christian intolerance, evil and suffering, the existence of God, or faith in general, this book provides a good introductory look at answers to those questions. It's written in very straight-forward and approachable language, which makes it easy to recommend to non-Christians. I was impressed with how well this section was organized and sourced, while still remaining conversational in presentation.
The second half is more evangelistic in nature presenting a more personal argument for Christian belief. He also gets deeper into specific Christian theology and how it can address many of the failings of a religious worldview.
