Kitty Takes a Holiday (Kitty Norville, #3)

Here's what the book brought to the series ...
Yeahs::
* Kitty has a pack and it's perfect for her.
* There was a few plots going on. It was paced well (maybe not as fast as the previous books) and kept my interest.
* Someone in Kitty's life is bitten. Kitty takes him/her under wing and cares for them. This was one of my favorite plots of the book. When I think back from when I first started the series, I wouldn't have thought this person would turn into a werewolf. It was a nice twist in the series.
* Kitty gets some radio competition. How does she deal with this? Like most jealous ladies would, she crank calls them. It was a silly immature side of Kitty that I didn't mind seeing.
* Kitty's love interest is not someone I would have expected. I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, I like it. On the other, I see heartbreak on his side. I know it's going to happen, it's only a matter of when.
Nays::
* I enjoyed this book, but it wasn't as good as the previous. Like I said, still enjoyable.
* Kitty's inability to stand up against people who try to harm her is really starting to grate on my nerves. She just brushes it off. In the second book, Kitty Goes to Washington, she is kidnapped and forced to change on live TV. She's practically raped on live TV and just brushes this aside. Then in this book, someone is leaving dead animals on her porch and making her feel horrible. When she finds out who did it, she just brushes it aside and doesn't try to press charges. Ugh!
