really liked it
bookshelves: classics
Read in April, 1992

This was another book that touched me. I was in a not so happy time in my life in highschool. Mr. Ibsen touched me by his rather negative way of viewing marriage and relationships. His rather jaded and cutting view of marriage as an institution was different than any others I had seen at that time. He wasn't he warm fuzzy author so many teachers and adults tried to force down our throats. In fact, his books made a person question and think. The realism is what really got to me. There are no happily ever afters.
