In Passions of the Dead, by L.J. Sellers, a family of four is found in their home, beaten and stabbed. The only survivor, 18-year-old Lori, has a stab wound to the stomach and no memory of the attack. Det Jackson is assigned to the case and is soon confronted with too many suspects and no easy motive. As the story unravels, the tragedy of this family starts to feel too close to home for jackson.

Passions is a gripping tale full of interesting characters. It grabs hold on page one and doesn't let go until the very end. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.
