I found myself in desperate need of something ridiculously artsy fartsy and this book fit the bill nicely...without being too pretentious...sort of. I loved seeing how the characters learned to really embrace who they are, rather than hide themselves away or squeeze themselves into roles that society dictates. The discussions were fabulous and I just wanted to binge on art, literature, philosophy, film, and music the minute I finished reading this. A lovely read.
