This was a sweet story about a group of three pandas all friends who were having a hard time finding any bamboo leafs to eat and they were starting to get really hungry. One day Ping finds some bamboo leafs, but decides to be greedy and eat them himself and hide them for future meals instead of sharing. Soon this backfires on him as his friends hungry and in search of food decide that they are going to relocate and move. Ping is faced with being alone, or sharing his food. What will he do?

This book is beautifully illustrated and has a wonderful message about friendship and sharing. This book had the children in my class discussing why it is nice to share. :0) It’s actually quite interesting to hear children discuss important issues to them.
