I love Kelly Gallgher's style in the classroom. He is practical and insightful about motivating reluctant readers. This book is full of ready-to-use ideas to get kids motivated to learn vocabulary, apply skills and just start reading. My only critique is that some of the suggestions have a little too much social justice education flavor for me personally. Great collection of activities for those in the high school English/Reading classroom.
