This story seemed kind of rambling to me, or maybe that's my own fault because I read it in bits and pieces. It starts out well, with camper Morgan saving Riley from men who shot him and left him to die in the desert. I like Field's athletic, adventurous heroines, and Morgan is good and tough.
The two are forced to hide in Morgan's tent for several days and find themselves getting very hot for each other, but both have intimacy issues.
Then the story goes in another direction with a secret baby plot. (Not Morgan's.)
There's a lot of semi-antagonistic banter... I don't like banter.
I dunno, I can see this story appealing a lot more to someone else than it did to me. And the chemistry between them is good. It just didn't float my boat much.
