it was amazing
bookshelves: children

How can I explain the degree this book has changed my life? The title is addictive. "Llama Llama Red Pajama" has become to me "Llama Llama..." anything. "beware of mama" "...save the drama", "don't buy a humma!". I just love the way the words roll off my mouth. My daughter is now used to hearing me say "Llama Llama loves da mama".

Even without the cool title this book is a good children's read. It's one I am always happy to read to my child. I appreciate how the mama is busy in a realistic way and not able to spend every moment focused on the Llama. It's less ideal than other books. And the way the llama is fearful when not doted on is touching and resonant with my own experiences with my daughter.

A great read!
