Berkeley Sensation

Half-human and half-wyr, Pia Giovanni spent her life keeping a low profile among the wyrkind and avoiding the continuing conflict between them and their dark Fae enemies. But after being blackmailed into stealing a coin from the hoard of a dragon, Pia finds herself targeted by one of the most powerful - and passionate - of the Elder races.

As the most feared and respected of the Wyrkind, Dragos Cuelebre cannot believe someone had the audacity to steal from him, much less succeed. And when he catches the thief, Dragos spares her life, claiming her as his own to further explore the desire they've ignited in each other.

Pia knows she must repay Dragos for her trespass, but refuses to become his slave - although she cannot deny wanting him, body and soul ...
Pia is essentially a good girl trying to stay out of trouble and off the grid. Her mother started training her from a very young age in the fine art of hiding in plain sight. Falling in love with the wrong guy has caused her heartache and problems as he blackmails her into breaking into the Dragon’s Lair to steal something for his bosses.

The story is well crafted and the characters have a definite depth of character to them. While Pia finds herself in deep doo doo with Dragos, she also finds him very interesting and even charismatic. If you are a fan of Urban Fantasies and Paranormal Romance you simply must read this book. I fully intend to follow this author’s progress as the series continues to unfold and Pia, Dragos, and her bodyguards find new ways to get into and out of trouble.

Thea Harrison is a multi published author in the Romance Genre and this is her first outing into the Urban Fantasy realms. She can be found hanging out at and also at!/pages/The...
