I really enjoyed reading this book. I had been waiting for AG to release new historical dolls since the archival of Kirsten, Felicity and Elizabeth. Marie-Grace is a very likable character and the story is very enjoyable. I never studied American History as I did not grow up in the US so I was not familiar with the particularities of New Orleans history until I heard of this book in an AG doll collector forum. I was looking forward reading this book not only to get to know the character but also to learn a bit more about American history. I believe the information shared in this book was very good and informative as well as entertaining. I would recommend it to anyone interested in AG historial fiction books as well as children (boys and girls) aged 8 and above.
