** spoiler alert ** How funny that people didn't admit that they never heard of a Nat Tate (a name in combination from the National Gallery and the Tate Gallery). I received this book through the first reads giveaway lottery. Its a short and humorous account of the fictional artist Nat Tate. The humor comes from knowing the background of the witty and sarcastic hoax to reveal how trivial and reputationally-obsessed the art world and its image-hungry people can be. Not a bad fictional biography of this suicidal character. Easy to read and fun to get through.
