really liked it
bookshelves: thrillers
Read from June 05 to 07, 2011

I never thought Perry would ever write about the Butcher's Boy again, but how glad I am to be wrong. While the writing itself is not quite up to par with Richard Stark's books, the dry tone is similar, and the main characters share a mentality...and I really, really love that mentality. Interesting details, great pace, and an ending that I didn't see coming. Enjoyed it, and now I want to go back and read the previous books.
