I really enjoyed reading this. I would say I got on the Augusten Burroughs boat a little on the late side, but after reading this, i've read like three more of his books. I'm a fan.

I found that this book is nowhere near as introspective as Dry was, or even Possible Side Effects. In his youth, or at least his writings on the subject, he didn't really take the blame for anything. Granted he was put in an extraordinary position, but everyone has a hand in their fate. I was happy to see in subsequent books, him addressing his shortcomings as well.

Although, I admit that the book would be a little strange in the fashoin I mentioned. So, It's more for personal curiosity than as a critique of the writing that I mention that.
