Beautifully compiled edition printed on quality paper with with photos throughout. At the back is a timeline showing events in Gandhi's life as well as political events corresponding to those dates and maps of India and South Africa as they appeared during the events shared in the book.

There is a timeless message here presented in readable format. This is a message of peaceful political activism, love of all others, community service, the importance of meditation. I was surprised that Gandhi knew the Koran and the Sermon on the Mount and quoted from these sources as well as the Bhagavad Gita when inspiring others to focus on a life of simplicity and peace.
