St. Claire has struck again with another phenomenal book in the Guardian Angelino’s series. This is book three, which focuses on one of the main founders of the ever-growing agency, Vivi Angelino, and her desire to once again push her company’s name into the spotlight by inserting herself in yet another dangerous investigation. This time, however, things are a little different as Vivi herself is the one to serve as a double for an actress whose name could be next on a serial killer’s list. The dangers involved are not much of a concern to Vivi until the consequences of failing the mission put her company and her family’s lives on the line. Vivi’s spunky tough-girl personality refuses to let her step down from a challenge and she is confident she can pull the whole charade off……that is until she realizes that one of the people she must succeed in fooling is none other than Assistant Special Agent in charge Colton Lang.

Colton Lang’s annoying habit of insisting to always play by the rules is not Vivi’s only problem when it comes to pulling off the job... She can't seem to extinguish the attraction that exists between her and Colton. And things don’t stay simple for long when Vivi discovers that there is much more to the starlet she is pretending to be besides the serial killer on the loose determined to kill her, so much more that the serial killer begins to seem a minor issue. Colton and Vivi must team up together to work the investigation and find out the secrets that are hidden in this celebrity’s past.

Fantastic! I really enjoy this author and the flow of her story. Her characters are amazing and so well described. I find that there is just about nothing wrong with the story, or the writing, or anything. It’s adventurous, but logical, and it has a nice twist of romance that isn’t overdone, or even underdone. I have a very hard time putting these books down once I start them. Definite must read for those that love their romantic suspense!
